July Meditation & Morning Pages

with Elizabeth Fletcher

Are you in need of a contemplative or creative reset? Do you want to explore how the practice of morning pages from Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way can help support creative living? Would you benefit from the accountability of a like-minded group?

Join yoga therapist and writer Elizabeth Fletcher online for a month of meditation and morning pages. We’ll begin with a ten-minute heart-centering meditation, followed by twenty minutes of morning pages (three pages of longhand, stream-of-consciousness writing). Drop-in for individual practices that suit your schedule or commit to the whole month with pay-what-you-want pricing.

Now in its third year! Summer mornings a glorious time to ground and reflect in preparation for the day ahead. I hope you’ll join me for the month of July to strengthen a habit that supports contemplation and creativity in community.

Practice will be held Sundays through Thursdays, 6:30 - 7 am CT through the month of July, excluding Sunday, July 5. Sundays beginning July 12 will include an optional fifteen-minute group check-in from 7:00-7:15 am CT.

What are Morning Pages?

Morning pages are a practice outlined in Julia Cameron’s classic book, The Artist’s Way. In it, she details handwriting at least three pages, in a stream of consciousness style, not pausing to edit or critique or even to think about what you are writing.

While not a requirement, this book is a great addition to your creative bookshelf. You can purchase it and support Eye of the Heart by clicking on the image to the right.
