Compassion
Whenever I’m brought to my knees with a challenge, I turn to the wisdom that has helped others before me.
The Book of Joy by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and His Holiness the Dalai Lama is one of those resources. One story from that book is top of mind.
There were some Tibetan monks forced to work in a brutal and dehumanizing prison. There were a few moments when the monks were truly scared.
Their greatest peril: nearly losing their compassion.
In a dehumanizing situation, if they lost their ability to see others as humans, they would have truly been defeated.
It is one of my spiritual practices to remember that it is traumatized and wounded people who gravitate towards the perceived security of powerful authority figures.
It is one of my spiritual disciplines to remember that we all long for happy, healthy, peaceful and prosperous lives. We are one family on this planet.
Tapping into our interconnection is also the best source of transformative power.
In the intimate transformative circles that I lead, I help people tap into multidimensional, interconnected support from:
Our bodies
Nature
Ancestors
Wisdom Lineages and
Unconditional Love
I’m getting a front row view of people coming into their more powerful, compassionate, essence. The energy of 2026 is accelerating this transformation!
They come out of class as the embodiment of mountains. Strong, resilient, and grounded. Look out world!
I feel so proud watching these transformations among the people in my circles. And it gives me hope.
How would your life be different if you felt like an unshakeable mountain of compassion and power?
I’d love to help you get there,
emily
