3 Things that Made a Difference

What a year!

I was completely surprised as I read through my journals from the past year to have this realization:

Even in the midst an extremely hard year for our country and planet, I have flourished.

I’m more satisfied than ever with my work and even ended my year by receiving a Creative Individuals grant from the MN State Arts Board!

What’s made the difference for me to have a great year in the midst of very hard times? Even as a privileged person, some years just haven’t felt easy – more like exhausting.

Looking back, here are 3 things that helped make my year vibrant:

Working with the energy of the year

I took to heart everything Master Lin, my qigong teacher, had to say about working with the energy of 2025. Because he prepared us for unpredictability, volatility, and systems change, the news didn’t stress me as much.

I recommend checking our Master Lin’s energetic forecast for 2026. Every 60 years there is powerful energy supporting clearing karmas and transforming your life – and this will be the year! While the fire energy will continue to be very strong and volatile, there is also incredible creative energy.

Journaling

I returned to journaling with passion and some fresh prompts. I took time to write down my dreams. All of this helped strengthen my connection to my inner knowing, purpose, and truth.

Looking ahead to January, working with dreams and clearing karmas are part of the Winter Season of Grandmother’s Garden.

Mentoring

I started meeting monthly with a qigong mentor two years ago and it has been the through-line supporting my transformation. Thanks to one-on-one coaching:

  • My energy is so much more free

  • I have a stronger connection to my own power

  • I am more connected to my essence

  • I have a richer understanding of my purpose.

Because the winter is a powerful time to set up your entire year, I will be offering a special package of private mentoring along with the Healing Circle for the first quarter of the year. Stay tuned for registration!

Happy New Year!
