A Greater Wholeness

I know it can feel impossible, but it’s so important for me to remember there is a greater

wholeness that holds all the difficulties and joys in life.

Any fleeting moment when we tap into a larger sense of interbeing, especially amidst

messiness, can be lifesaving.

That’s why it’s so important to me to host the Mid-Summer Celebration every year.

One of the primal pleasures of the celebration comes from the flower crowns and giant hoop of

flowers that we make.

The crowns and hoop are circles, just like all our dancing circle, emphasizing the circle as a way

for understanding all of life.

The crowns and hoop are colorful, fragrant, and delightful. They get us to loosen up and step

outside of ourselves. We become the meadow, dancing.

Royalty wear crowns to symbolize their power. Wearing a crown of flowers, we remember that

our power comes as a gift from the earth. Like flowers, we depend on pollinators and our

interconnection, to come to fruition.

Don’t let the joy factor lead you to underestimate the potency of the Mid-Summer Celebration.

One of the best ways to bring more wholeness and harmony in the world is to cultivate it within

oneself. So come fill yourself! Let us each become mobile oases of wholeness in the world.

Love,

Emily
